Your library. Your privacy.

Accounts store your name, email address, securely hashed password, saved quotations, and reading status. Saved items are private to your account.

Newsletter subscriptions store your email, selected language, consent date, confirmation date, and unsubscribe status. We send a confirmation email before activating a subscription. You can unsubscribe from your account preferences or an unsubscribe link. We do not sell subscriber addresses.

Contributions

When you submit a quotation or correction, we store your name, email, message, and any source URL so editors can review it. Contact details are not shown on public library pages.

Contact messages

When you contact us, your name, email address, subject, and message are sent to our team through Brevo. We use this information to respond to your inquiry. Sending a contact message does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Security and service providers

We use session cookies to keep you signed in and protect forms. Security controls may temporarily use your IP address to limit abusive requests. When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile processes verification data; its widget connects to Cloudflare. Public book cover images may be served from our CDN.

Language preference and country lookup

We remember your chosen language in a cookie. For a first-visit language suggestion, your public IP address may be sent to api.iplocation.net for a country lookup. The site caches country results under a hashed key; it does not store your raw IP for this feature.

Account assistance

For an account data or deletion request, use the contribution form and select Correction. Include your account email and request, never your password. An editor will review the request.
